Emergency medical technician

Duckhaven career · King Duck Memorial

Emergency medical technicians take roadside calls, help the patient with the listed equipment and drive them back to King Duck Memorial. It has the most expensive licence of any job. The calls and equipment are fictional gameplay, not medical instruction.

Getting started

Complete the EMT certification through Learning at King Duck Memorial’s training suite. Enrolment costs $25,000 from Savings, with retries and resuming included. Unlike Fuel and Mechanic, EMT always requires its own demonstration. Then visit hospital dispatch and choose the free Harrow Aidline 1 ambulance.

How the work goes

  1. Take or resume a call and drive to its roadside parking point.
  2. Get out and assess the patient.
  3. Read each requested piece of assistance equipment and complete the listed steps.
  4. Prepare the stretcher and load the patient.
  5. Drive back to King Duck Memorial, park and complete the hospital handoff.
  6. Return to dispatch for another call.

Progression

Aidline 2 and 3 unlock at EMT 25 and 75. Higher-level calls add more assistance steps. Choosing the right equipment first time improves quality, and finishing within the call’s deadline adds urgency pay. The deadline is a bonus, so there is no need to drive recklessly.

Pay and XP

The hospital handoff pays the call and gives career XP once. Strength shortens and trains only stretcher preparation (14 seconds) and loading (12 seconds). Assessment, assistance, handoff and driving are not affected.

Common problems

  • Wrong equipment can be corrected, but it lowers that step’s quality.
  • Use the dispatched ambulance and the marked parking points.
  • Resume an unfinished call. An empty dispatch screen is not a second patient.

Modeled earnings

Scenario: The best ambulance unlocked at each level, running every call type once, with correct first-choice equipment and the urgency deadline tested against the modeled trip.

These are calculations from the R51 — Timber in Motion source, not measured play. Each figure repeats one clean cycle with the equipment above already owned, then scales it to an hour. Seller VAT and recurring ingredients or seeds are taken off. Income tax, club tithes, debt repayment, fuel, repairs, gear purchases and breaks for needs are not, and neither are travel delays, mistakes or other players. Treat them as a comparison between levels, not a promise of what an hour of play pays.
