Waste management

Duckhaven career · Clean Pond, on the southern desert road

Waste management workers drive a collection route, bring the load back to Clean Pond and sort it on a personal belt. Pay comes in stages through the route, and residential pickups and sorting get faster with Strength.

Getting started

Start Sanitation and go to Clean Pond dispatch on the southern desert road. The free Fen Porter Collect carries three bags. No licence is needed.

How the work goes

  1. Accept a route and drive to a marked pickup. Park.
  2. Collect the waste, carry it to the truck and load it.
  3. Keep going through the assigned pickups, or head back early with a partial load.
  4. At Clean Pond, unload.
  5. On your sorting belt, put each item into Paper, Containers, Wood or Trash. Fix any wrong choice and finish the load.

Progression

Trucks unlock at career 1, 10, 35 and 75. They hold 3, 8, 16 and 30 units and collect 1, 2, 4 and 6 per pickup. Extra units add a smaller effort payment, not a full wage each. Commercial pickups are handled differently from residential ones.

Pay and XP

Loaded pickups pay for collection and travel, unloading pays for the return trip, and finished sorting pays for processing and first-choice accuracy. A complete route also earns a completion bonus. Returning early does not. Recovered wood is held at dispatch if your inventory is full.

Strength shortens residential collection and loading and all sorting, and trains from them. Commercial pickups, driving and unloading are not affected.

Common problems

  • Fix mistakes on the belt. Clicking the wrong bin repeatedly does not earn anything.
  • Keep the dispatched truck nearby, and clear sorted output and pending wood when needed.

Modeled earnings

These are calculations from the R51 — Timber in Motion source, not measured play. Each figure repeats one clean cycle with the equipment above already owned, then scales it to an hour. Seller VAT and recurring ingredients or seeds are taken off. Income tax, club tithes, debt repayment, fuel, repairs, gear purchases and breaks for needs are not, and neither are travel delays, mistakes or other players. Treat them as a comparison between levels, not a promise of what an hour of play pays.
